World Amateur Golfers Championship

World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) enables amateur golfers from around the world compete to represent their Countries.

The event at Boulder Hills on Sept 4-5, 2026 is the exclusive India qualifier for the annual World Amateur Golfers Championship World Final to be played in Desaru Coast, Johor, Malaysia on October 24-30th Each player plays 18 holes on either day

ENTRY FEE: Rs 12,000 per person – non members of Boulder Hills Rs 10,000 per person – members of Boulder Hills Credit Card registrations also permitted.

The maximum handicap accepted is 24 for men and ladies. Players should have reached their 18th birthday on the date of the tournament. Players ranked in the top 20 of the Indian Golf Union Merit List in any category in the past 10 years are not accepted.

Venue  –   Boulder Hills, Hyderabad

The format of the event is individual strokeplay with triple bogey as the maximum score counted on any hole
  • A maximum of 108 players will play on each day.
  • Players shall compete individually in 5 handicap categories as per their declared handicaps.
  • The five handicap categories (as per the rules of the World Amateur Golfers Championship) are 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-24:
  • One overall winner will be declared in each handicap category over both days.
  • An App will be used for Live Scoring for all players.

The overall winners will be those with the lowest 18 hole individual net score in each handicap category among all players

Winners & Runners up will be awarded each day in each handicap category.
Best gross score each day Lucky Draws.

The overall winners will make up the 5 member Indian team to go to the World Amateur Golfers Championship 2026 in Desaru Coast, Johor, Malaysia

The trip to the World Golfers will include 6 days of golf, Gala Opening Ceremony Dinner, Closing Ceremony and Awards Dinner, local transfers, breakfasts and lunches each day at the course. Around 500 golfers from 40 countries participate each year at the WAGC World Final.

Uniforms and kits will be provided to the 5 winners
