The Indian Cancer Society – Delhi is proud to announce the 16th Edition of the Drive Against Cancer Charity Golf Tournament, returning to the picturesque Qutab Golf Course following the successful milestone edition held there last year.
An initiative of the Indian Cancer Society – Delhi, Drive Against Cancer brings together the spirit of golf and the cause of cancer awareness, demonstrating how sport can unite people in support of a greater purpose. The tournament embodies competition, camaraderie, and compassion, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Funds raised through the event will help support underprivileged cancer patients by providing care and rehabilitation services, promoting awareness and early detection, and extending vital assistance to cancer survivors.

Indian Cancer Society was established in 1951 by Dr. D.J. Jussawalla and Mr. Naval Tata as India’s first voluntary, non-profit, national organization for Cancer Awareness, Screening, Cure and Survivorship of those affected with this disease.
Indian Cancer Society, Delhi Branch has been doing sterling work in fighting cancer across Delhi NCR. It has been and continues to be the beacon of hope for thousands of our poor cancer affected brethren with it tagline “The Conquest of Cancer by Choice; not Chance”. The extent of help required is phenomenal. The society is entirely dependent on public & corporate support for its various activities.
INDIAN CANCER SOCIETY, DELHI ACTIVITIES
- Creating nationwide awareness of cancer, tobacco as a risk factors, survivorship, and encouraging regular checkups for early detection increasing the chances of cure and economic burden of treatment in an advanced stage. (Awareness outreach – about 4 million in one year)
- Providing for the early detection of cancer through cancer screening centres and mobile cancer screening camps across Delhi NCR, for the underprivileged. (Screened more than 2.60 lakh individuals since 1984)
- Providing funds for the treatment of cancer for underprivileged cancer patients through 14 empanelled hospital (More than 2700 patients supported since 1991)
- Providing support during and after treatment to underprivileged cancer patients through accommodation, rehabilitation, and survivor support groups. (More than 12000 ‘Bras and Prostheses’ have been distributed to the needy).
