Event Highlights

Tournament Rules & Conditions

  1. 1. The 2021 India Golf Festival will be a 54-hole two-member team handicap event played over 3 different golf courses in NCR. Golfers will also compete for daily team and 54-hole individual net and gross' prizes in various age groups and categories. Handicaps will be adjusted on Double Peoria system daily for net events.

  2. 2. Registration form to be completed and early bird ENTRY FEE of INR 15,900 per person to be paid on the tournament payment gateway www.rnsportsmarketing.com/indiagolffestival . After the early bird registration deadline of December 15, 2020, the entry fee will be INR 18,900 per person. Both team-members registration must be complete for the team entry to be confirmed.

  3. 3. The Tournament is open to all golfers, men, ladies, and juniors 13 years and over with established club handicaps from anywhere in the world; maximum of 24 for men and women.

  4. 4. ENTRY FEE Inclusions: Eligibility for International Pairs World Final, 3 rounds of golf, Personal cart at Classic, Shared cart & caddy at Jaypee Greens, Caddy and Trolley at Qutab GC, Forecaddies, Refreshments & snacks at all courses, giveaways, prizes & trophies.

  5. 5. Qutab Golf Course is a walking course so no carts will be available. Caddies will be provided to each participant. Trollies will be available, provided by the caddy. Should you decide not to use the caddy to carry your golf set, he will then be ahead of your group as your forecaddie.

  6. 6. A two-member team can consist of any combination of men, ladies and juniors above the age of 13 years.

  7. 7. Competition rounds will be conducted on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 20-22 January 2021.

  8. 8. Players may play in their chosen fourball on all days. Preferred fourball can be indicated in the registration form during the entry process. Fourball must remain the same on all three days and cannot be changed.

  9. 9. The winning two-member team of the India Golf Festival over 54 holes will qualify for the 2021 International Pairs World Final in Portugal in October 2021, subject to safety precautions. Players under age 18 years are not eligible for the International pairs but eligible for all other prizes.

  10. 10. Each day, handicaps of all players at each course will be adjusted as per the Double Peoria handicap adjustment system. The team score each day will be the sum of the two 18-hole net scores of the team members after handicap adjustment. The 54-hole team winner will be the team with the lowest total net score over 3 days.

  11. 11. Golfers will be drawn to play one round each at Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in Greater Noida, Qutab GC in Saket and ITC Classic Golf Resort in Gurgaon.

  12. 12. Exact dates of which course is being played will be finalised and sent by email and Whatsapp on 9 January 2021.

  13. 13. Starting may be off 1st & 10th tees staggered start between 8 and 10 am to maintain safety protocols or shotgun start at 9 am, which will be announced later.

  14. 14. Competitors must have an official handicap, validated by your club or IGU.

  15. 15. Distance measuring devices are permitted.

  16. 16. All events will be conducted in accordance with the rules of golf and such local rules as approved by the Tournament Committee.

  17. 17. In the event that weather conditions prevent all players from finishing their round, that competition round will be cancelled, and the Championship reduced accordingly. No refunds will be provided for cancelled championship rounds.

  18. 18. Refund applications received in writing before 10 January 2021 will be subject to a 10% processing fee . Cancellations after 10 January 2021 will receive no refunds. Players may replace a team-mate for the tournament provided they inform the organisers no later than January 16 at 1600 hours. Once the tournament commences, team-mates may not be changed.

  19. 19. The Championship' shall be under the management and control of the Tournament Committee, whose decision on all matters relating to the Championship will be final.

  20. 20. Scores and leaders in various prize categories will be available online each evening by 1700 hours.

  21. 21. 21. Final results of the 54 holes will be announced no later than 1700 hours on 22nd January and all winners will be notified. Prizes and trophies may be collected from an address specified by RN Sports Marketing.

  22. 22. A 'Grand Lucky Draw' for all competitors will be conducted on Thursday January 22 at Qutab Golf Course, Saket within one hour of completion of the round and winners will be notified by WhatsApp and email. It is not necessary to be present at the venue to win the lucky draws.

  23. 23. All prizes will be distributed in accordance with the rules of amateur golf status.

  24. 24. The Tournament Committee may arrange media promotion and publicity before, during and after the Championship. Competitors agree to pictures of them appearing and being used for event promotion.

  25. 25. The Tournament Committee may at its discretion amend or add any condition of the Championship.

  26. 26. To drive a motorized cart, competitors agree to possess a current driver's license and have previous experience driving a golf cart equal to a minimum of four rounds. In the event of an accident, the driver is responsible for the costs to repair the cart and any property damaged as well as being liable for any personal injury claims.

  27. 27. By registering online and accepting the tournaments terms & conditions, competitors agree to participate in the India Golf Festival at their own risk. The Tournament Committee, RN Sports Marketing, sponsors, host golf clubs and other suppliers of goods and services accept no liability for any death, injury, property loss or damage incurred during or arising out of any aspect of the conduct of the Championship.

  28. 28. Players give consent to their name and home club to be displayed on the event website.

  29. 29. 4.5 hours is the maximum time to be taken to complete each round and an integral part of the tournament. Remember to play at a good pace, players need not rushtheir shots; they should be prepared to play their stroke when it's their turn. Carts should be parked between the green you are playing and the next tee box and NOT back down the fairway / in front of the green.

  30. 30. The tournament committee may at its sole discretion amend or add any condition of the Championship. By registering online, entrants acknowledge they have read, understood and agreed to these tournament rules and accept all risks. No liability for any death, injury, property loss or damage incurred during or arising out of any aspect of the conduct of the Championship will be accepted by any party involved in organising the tournament.
